Hey all! Nope, the tornado did not take out our house. It was incredibly close by - approximately 2 miles down the road. We don't even have any fallen branches. But our lucky streak of being out of town at the right time continues...I thought it was broken when we were in town for the ice storm 2 weeks ago. Instead, we got to miss the tornado! We were our way back from Miami Beach when the tornado hit - we found out about it from the worried voicemails on our cellphones when we landed :)
Have enjoyed the calls and emails from all over the country checking up on us. We'll let you know our winter vacation plans for next year in advance so you'll know when the next nasty natural disaster will hit OK.

OMG -- you can't catch a break with the bad weather! Glad that you're all okay. I know you can't wait for spring!
Glad to hear you guys have a lucky streak going.. Wanted to write to say that your comment of the day made me pee my pants laughing: "When everyone is crying it is time to go to bed!" OMG: how true!!!!
